Submission Guidelines


  • All paper submissions in 4-page format (English) must be completed by April 4th 2005 extended to April 11
  • Papers submitted must clearly state:
    - the aim of the work
    - the new results and their impact
    - advancements compared to state-of-the-art

    Please find below the guidelines to be followed:

      1.
      The only accepted format is Adobe PDF
      the official abstract language is English
      2.
      The author guidelines to prepare a 4-page abstract are here: (pdf / .dot Microsoft Word)
      3.
      The conventions to name your file document:
      . text(underscore)text(underscore)text(underscore)text.......(dot)pdf
      . authorname_abstract_title_beginning.pdf
      . 60 characters maximum without ".pdf"
      . all with small letters and all words separeted by underscore
      example. dupont_wonderful_flash_tool_for_educational_training.pdf
      4.
      procedure to sent a valid abstract:
      41. ftp your file (on Microsoft Windows: simple "ftp" command in a DOS window) on the "upload/memswave2005" directory of the ftp server: yoko2.epfl.ch
      login to be used: anonymous
      password: your email address
      note. due to security you will not be able to see the just unloaded file on upload/memswave2005 directory
      "memswave2005" is a hidden protected directory
      note2. ask your system administrator if not simple task for you
      42. send an email to memswave@epfl.ch to prevent the upload
      43. fill up the "memswave2005 consent to publish form" (pdf to print)
      44. send the "memswave2005 consent to publish form" by FAX at: +41 216933640
